Here is the prize for this week...another two handmade tags as well as the tree stamp that is used in one of the tags. And the question is..for those of you who follow new releases from the stamp and scrapbook and altered arts fields, what are the items that you think sound good, or even great...what are some of the companies you would like me to look at when I go to California for the CHA show...I am definitely taking a look at all the new items from Sizzix, designed by Tim Holtz, as well as new stuff from Prima, 7 Gypsies, and Graphic 45 (in fact, I already ordered all of new stuff from those three companies.) Will definitely check out (and I am pretty sure to order the complete line of,) Webster's Pages...as well as new Idealogy and Stampers Anonymous stamps...any other companies you would like me to be sure to drool over?? Also, are there any projects coming up for you this year that you would like special supplies for, e.g. 50th wedding anniversary of your parents, or maybe your own??...graduations, births, trips to certain destinations??...I am happy to look for new stuff. Let me know.

  1. Some products I would love to buy (but can't be found anywhere around here except online)....Daniel Smith watercolors. PanPastels--(these have the consistency of regular pastels but you apply them with little applicators, like chalks.) Pelikan watercolors.

  5. Kate - Thank you for all your great finds! I am always on the look out for scrapping papers for ice hockey - I have only been able to find them online. I love all the new items featuring birds and owls. My favorite part of your travels though are the things you uncover and bring back - most of the items I had no idea I ever needed and now can't imagine not having them!

  11. Kate,
Sadly I am looking for things to make Sympathy Cards. Also beautiful word stamps in a lovely script. Also all things Tim Holtz. Stamps that make scenery. And a bag of twenties if you can find one. Maybe a partiridge in a pear tree. Just checking to see if you were reading to the end.

  14. Hi Kate,
I hope you can find a stamp company named "Stamping Bella". They have the most adorable stamps. I am also excited to hear that Tim Holtz teamed up with Sizzix. I can't wait to see all the new releases.

  15. I can't wait to see some of the Tim Holtz "Alternations" dies that can be used on the Sissix to cut through grungeboard. How cool is that idea? I also really like the Glimmer Screens that can be enhanced with more details using coordinating rub-ons
(or is it rubber stamps). The Maya Road website always has cool projects that I like, it would be nice to do a workshop with them. And, of course, I love Basic Grey's stuff.
