Jennifer McGuire Classes, April 16-17

Jennifer Mcguire has extended each of her classes, which are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, April 16 and 17, for an extra half hour and the card classes will have one more card per class. The canvas class will also have a bonus in it. The upper photo shows peeks from the two card classes. The lower photo is a sneak peak at the canvas class, where you will create the canvas with assorted hearts, and more than twenty-five techniques. There are tons of techniques in each class and none are repeats...good reason to take all three! And if that's not enough...you will get a $10 rebate when you sign up for all three classes. Read all about the classes here, and just add a half hour to the timing of each class..start times do not vary from listed info.

The Technique treasury Saturday afternoon, is full and has a waiting list. There are spaces in the other two classes.

As a side note, I was watching Jen's Hero Arts videos the other day, and they are really terrific...so many card designs...very inspiring.

For all classes, just bring your scissors, dry adhesive, foam dots, glue dots and energy

International Auto Show, Right Here!! That's right. we are having an"expo" to show the diversity of the new Tim Holtz "jalopy" die from Sizzix. Everyone is invited to enter...and there will be prizes !! We will do a drawing for four $50 gift certificates to the store. Just decorate the car in any way you want...any color, style, nationality, time period, belonging to anyone famous or infamous. real or not real...I have done a quick entry..showing the Mary Kay Cosmetics road Trippers...anyway, that is probably pretty tame for what I may come up with in the next few weeks...so we would love to have all of our readers join us in the "Auto Show." Just make up your special entry, mail it to us..we will put it up on the wall (and we will be keeping them on permanent display, so make yourself an extra one if you need to.) I will post photos ,on the blog, of every car that comes in.Feel free to add embellishments, put it into a scene, make it stand up on its own, add a hang tab...really, we are wide open here...and we would love to get some international entries, as you are all elegible to win, too. Please send your entries in as soon as you can. We will do two drawings on April 30, for all the entries we have received by then, and then two more drawings on July 30, which will include every entry we get (so, those of you who get in early will have four chances to win.)Don't have the die but want to enter?...come into the store and, using paper that you buy here, you can use our die and machine.Feeling like you would like to invest in the machine and die???Our Big Shot (normally $99.99) is $54.99 all the time...really!!...The Vagabond machine is always $199.99 here at the store, and online, (not to mention --it is the Cadillac model of die-cutting machines...since we are talking about cars!! ) and all of our Sizzix dies, including the Tim Holtz dies and embossing folders, and all the accessories, are on a "buy-one, get-one-half-off" deal...all the time!!..I know!!! Well, its probably worth getting a machine just to enter the contest, but really, this is one of my most fun toys...it is so cool!...so many different things you can do with it. Watch the newsletters for the dates of our Sizzix Saturdays, when I do free demos.
