Just Like the Butcher who backed into his meat grinder...

...I have gotten a little behind in my work!! I will definitely get the essay on the "Hands of the Artist" going in my next post. Meanwhile, for a free prize chosen randomly, please respond to this post with whatever it is in your life that keeps you from geting things done on time. Prize (with no photo, because does it really need one??) is a set of Tim Hltz' grungeboard alphabets.

Also--update--we have received all the new Memory Box stamps and papers--butterflies--gorgeous--well done, Dave!!

  2. I can't get anything done on time because I have ADD, a 2-year-old, and also there needs to be like 30 hours in a day instead of 24! Friends and family have often tricked be into being somewhere on time by saying events start 15 minutes before they actually do....everyone was shocked when I was actually on time for my own wedding!

  3. 3 sons, a husband, a house that always need cleaning, and work--enough said!

  4. LIFE LIFE gets in the way!! For me, and this is going to sound really terrible, but our guests and the work of running the inn and staff get in my way, because of the inn, the guests are around 24/7 and if there are no guests it is the phone.......because a day if so unpredictable from one day to the next, I have a hard time carving out time to be creative...for me it mostly comes late at night, after everyone is in bed!! LOL!

  6. Distraction...I can walk into a room, forget why I'm there and start working on something totally unrelated. Very easily distracted.

  8. My garden got in the way of this afternoon's Zentangle class - this morning was terrific (and I KNEW Tracy would love it!) I did get some clean up done in the beautiful weather. I'm so with HelenM - creating all day would be oh so wonderful.

  9. Love Tim Holtz! And it's my teens' schedule that keeps me from getting to my craft table. But summer is almost here! Yea!
